On the 28th of August, 2011, Piyali recieved her Spiritual Name ~ Hamsa Shanti (Hamsa: Swan and the Swan represents the Soul. Shanti: Peace. Hence her name means: Swan of Peace or Soul Peace) ~ from Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath. She is a Kriya Yog Initiate since 2006, initiated by KriyaNath Rudra Shivananda and empowered by Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath, a true Living Kriya Master from the Himalayas.

Piyali (Hamsa Shanti), your therapist and healer, is a Certified Reiki Master Teacher/Practitioner in the Usui System of Natural Healing initiated and certified by Rev. Hannelore Z.Goodwin, Founder and Co-Director of Healing Alternatives and Facilitator of the Circle of Miracles, New Britain, PA, as well as a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, a graduate from the prestigious and esteemed Cayce/Reilley School of Massotherapy, Virginia Beach, VA. Piyali is also a Certified Holistic Alternative Psychology Practioner from the American Holistic Institute of Health & Wellness, Manhattan, NY. She created and is the owner of Wholistic Wellness Center, located here in the Bay Area, CA. She offers beneficial Reiki healing treatments and initiations and healing therapeutic massage following the wisdom of the body among other sacred services.
Piyali holds a B.A. (Honors) degree in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University, Kolkata (Calcutta), India, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from the Insititute of Modern Management, Kolkata (Calcutta), India.
